I finished my Ravenclaw sweater!
It’s big and cozy and in book-accurate colors (’cause I’m a nerd). It’s also my first full length adult sized sweater, so that’s something to be proud of.
Of course, as soon as I finished it we had a bit of a heat wave and the temperature refused to drop below about 68 for a couple of weeks. But now that it’s November, it’s cooling down and I can wear it regularly.
I knit it out of RHSS Soft from Michaels. I didn’t want to invest too much money into the thing in case it didn’t work out, and I wanted something washable because I’m not about that life. One thing I’m learning about this yarn (and, as a result, this sweater) is that it’s surprisingly warm. If it’s not actually chilly, it’s too warm to wear it. I’m sure I’ll appreciate this in a few weeks, once we’re into deep fall and have snow on the ground (hopefully), but for now I’m just looking longingly at my sweater…
